The Hoboken Arts and Music Festival kicks off this weekend (Sunday, May 3) at 11 a.m. on the lower half of Washington Street. The musical headliners are the BOX TOPS, with a special treat – they’ll be joined by former member Alex Chilton!
Three hundred vendors will be there to provide crafts, entertainment, and luscious food.
If you are a Hoboken resident, keep in mind some changes for the day:
-Parking is at a premium.
-The buses that normally travel Washington Street will instead travel parallel streets. Signs are taped up in the bus overhangs on Washington Street, but some have probably already fallen off.
-The ATM machines on Washington Street often have long lines on this day, so don’t wait too long to take money out.
Organizers said the fair will go on rain or shine…BUT if the rain is really bad and you want to be sure of that, the number for more information is 201-420-2207.
