Five possible cases of mild swine flu were confirmed yesterday by the New Jersey Department of Health, according to various published reports, and the state is sending the lab results to the CDC in Atlanta for confirmation. Meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control DID confirm 28 cases in New York City as of 6 a.m. this morning.
Locally, Hoboken City Hall and Hoboken mayoral candidate Dawn Zimmer both weighed in on the illness yesterday.
