To the Editor:
On March 5, 2009, The Shamrock Society of Bayonne held its annual Kickoff to St. Patrick’s Day event. Through the help of our members and local businesses, this party was a huge success.
There is one business in particular that needs to be mentioned in detail. There is no doubt that the night would have been less enjoyable without the help of Alex and Terry’s Deli, located at 798 Broadway. The food was delicious and we were given a very fair price. More importantly, the staff, led by Leo, was amazing.
I wanted to publicly thank him and the rest of the staff that night for their calm and friendly manner when setting up the large buffet. Members of the club have received many calls since that night asking whom our caterer was because it was the “best sandwich I’ve ever had.” I want to let everyone know to visit Alex and Terry’s in Bayonne.
