PERRY, MARY B

A funeral mass was offered April 14 at Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church for Mary B. Perry, 86, a lifelong Hoboken resident and community activist. She passed away on April 9. She volunteered time and service to the Hoboken Environmental Committee, the Waterfront Advisory Committee, and as a commissioner on the Zoning Board of Adjustment. She was a parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church, serving as a member of the Parish Council. “Mary cherished her deep rooted ties to Hoboken and the people who dedicated their time and energies to making the city the charming and diverse community she loved so much,” said a statement from her family. She was predeceased by her husband, William. She is survived by her son, James, and her four daughters, Katherine, Rosemary, Mary Elizabeth, and Anne Marie, and daughter-in-law, Rose. In addition, Mary’s survivors include five grandchildren, David, Michael, Brian, Jennifer, and Mark, and five great-grandchildren Billy, Anna, Molly, Sean, and Vivien. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
