A funeral mass was offered April 15 at St. Aloysius Church for Richard A. McGrath, 85. He died at his residence in Jersey City on April 12. He was a graduate of Rutgers University and Rutgers Law School and was Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey, retiring in 1991. Prior to that, he was in private law practice. He was a member of the NYAC, the University Club and President of the Lincoln Association. He is survived by his wife Dorethy (nee Hughes); two children, Anita and her husband Earl and Richard and his wife Christy, and six grandchildren, Marden, Hartley, Patience, Morgan and Jessica. He is also survived by two brothers, James and Frank McGrath. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
