Dates with local bachelors and bachelorettes were auctioned off last week at the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life fundraiser.
The event was Wednesday night at Texas Arizona, across from the PATH station, and the bar was filled with more than 200 people almost immediately after the meet-and-greet began at 7 p.m. The annual event is known to draw large crowds every year.
Organizers offer the disclaimer that once the auction is over, the “purchased” dates are arranged without their involvement.
The group is also hosting a race later this year.
