A funeral service was held April 17 for Karen A. Blondel (nee Diemer) 56, of Spring Hill, Fla., formerly of Secaucus. She passed away April 7. Born in Jersey City, she was Lutheran by faith and enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family and friends. Karen will be most remembered for her kind and thoughtful nature, always willing to help and do for others. She was the wife of Thomas Blondel; the daughter of the late Andrew and Joan Diemer; the stepmother of Thomas, and the grandmother of Julia. She is also survived by her sister Gail Tarnacki of Little Egg Harbor, and she was predeceased by her brother Andrew Diemer. She was the aunt of Jamie, John and his wife Angela, and Philip and his wife Stephanie, and she is also survived by great nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
