Police said that on Wednesday, a male entered a cell phone store in North Bergen pretending to browse for phones. When an employee bent down to help him, an apparent accomplice entered the store brandishing a gun and telling the employee to “hand over everything,” police said.
The two men, believed to be 5’7 and 5’8 and dressed in blue jeans and baseball caps, entrered Quick Wireless, Inc. on Kennedy Blvd., said Sgt. Joseph Gener.
According to Gener, they only left the store with a T-Mobile Sidekick phone valued at around $200.
Gener said police swept the store for latent finger prints and are following up on several leads. Anyone will information should call the North Bergen Detective Bureau at (201) 392-2100.
