Richard Scott Turnbull, owner of Uptown Pizzeria

A funeral mass will be offered April 13 at Sts. Peter & Paul R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Richard Scott Turnbull of Hoboken, 61, the owner of Uptown Pizzeria on 14th Street in Hoboken. He passed away April 6 at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital, New York. He was born in Brooklyn and later in life moved to Hoboken. He was a U.S. Air Force Reserve veteran serving from 1966-1970. Surviving are his father John Turnbull; his wife Carol (nee Olsen); his children, Richard and his wife Brenda, Tara Krause and her husband Joe, Carissa Biggie and her husband John, and Dana Turnbull; his siblings John, Steve, and Lorraine Wechsler, and his grandchildren James, Lauren, Jack, Allison, Jacey, Matthew, and William. He was predeceased by his mother Theresa Turnbull (nee Fiorello). Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
