Video by Hoboken kids to appear on C-SPAN

An interview with Hoboken, NJ “StudentCam” video winner Walter Gottlieb of Elysian Charter School will air on C-SPAN’s national morning show, Washington Journal, Friday April 10 at 9:30 a.m. Gottlieb will discuss his team’s award-winning documentary. Gottlieb, along with Rachel Feinstein and Cassandra Fresse, won Third Prize for their video, “Go Green for Life”, a documentary about protecting the environment. They will receive $750. Their video will air on C-SPAN in its entirety Friday, April 10 at 6:50 a.m.
The national competition, now in its fifth year, invited all middle school students (grades 6-8) and high school students (grades 9-12) to produce a five to eight minute documentary focusing on the topic: “A message to the new president: What is the most urgent issue for the new president to address after taking office, and why?”
The winning videos are also available to download or stream from the competition’s web site, www.studentcam.org.
