A funeral mass was offered March 27 at the St. Francis R.C. Church for Blanche Folvik, 90. She passed away March 19 at Hoboken University Hospital. She was born in Elizabeth and lived in Staten Island for several years before moving to Hoboken 30 years ago. She was a telephone operator for the St. George Hotel in Brooklyn, and also a waitress at various Brooklyn restaurants. She is survived by her son, Anthony Rico and his wife, Karola; her daughter, Virginia Cemelli and her husband, Anthony; her grandchildren, Linda Johnson and her husband Eric, Sharon Young, Arthur Cemelli, and Stephen Cemelli; her great-grandchildren Michael Young and his wife Angel, Lauren, Kaylan, Ember, Alder, and Logan and her great-great-grandson, Michalangelo Young. She was predeceased by both husbands, Anthony Rico and Asbjorn Folvik and her grandson, Andrew Cemelli. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
