A funeral service was held March 17 for Ravin I. Galloway, 57. She passed away March 9 at Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth. She was born, lived and worked most her life in Jersey City. She was educated in the city school system and graduated from Trophagen School of Design in New York on a full scholarship. She worked for the City of Jersey City Employment and Training Program as the Supervisor of Counselors. She married Romeo Galloway on July 10, 1972. She is survived by her son Rahmon and his wife Lateefah; her grandchildren Raven, Tatianna and Myuri; her sisters Franchon Strickland-Barron, Rashon and Shanan Strickland; her brothers John, Fredrick and Sean Strickland; an uncle, and her aunts Carina Howell, Teresa Kitchen, Jean Strickland, James Bell, Esther Bell and Irene Bell; her nieces and nephews Jarreau, Kalisa, Wasia, Marquel, Dallas, Troy, Farah and Fiona; and her stepmother, Ruth Strickland. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Gloria Strickland. Services arranged by the Jackson Funeral Residence, Jersey City.
