Dear Editor:
I am writing in support of Mayor Dennis Elwell from the Town of Secaucus. Under his watch the residents of the Town of Secaucus have enjoyed a new standard of living. The development of a day care center, a state-of-the-art library, a new theater for the high school that has a grid and backstage area able to support professional productions and the building of the Secaucus Recreation Center are the highlights of his administration. The mayor has always reached out to all ages in town and has tried to make everyone’s experience a better one.
I am especially thankful of having a health club which has facilities open from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Being able to exercise in quality environment, so close to home will prompt more people to take better care of themselves, and in the long run have lasting health care benefits. No longer do the residents of Secaucus have to go out of town to Jersey City or way out to Ridgefield to enjoy using a “Y”.
Kudos go out to Mayor Elwell and the town council for a job well done. Many thanks.
Best regards,
Virginia Boomer
