Hudson County Sheriff Juan M. Perez presented Sheriff’s Security Guard Elliot Gonzalez with a Gold Seal Commendation in his office praising the security guard for his life saving actions concerning a 47 year old female motorist who became ill and lost control of her motor vehicle crashing in to three homes on Merseles St. in Downtown JC. Perez noted that Security Guard Gonzalez was leaving his home and responded to the vehicle as the motorist lay in a near lifeless condition in the car. Gonzalez found her choking on her own fluids, turned her on her side and using his CPR skills, provided the basics life sustaining measures until the dispatched professional medical personnel arrived on the scene.
