Are you prepared for ‘Mile-Square Sugar Day’??

We aren’t sure that it’s a coincidence that “The Candy Shoppe” is opening in Hoboken on the exact same Saturday that the long-anticipated Crumbs Bake Shop is opening five blocks away and planning to give away hundreds of free cupcakes.
We are wondering if that Saturday, March 21, will have enough police protection to deal with all the sugar highs, and perhaps should be called “Mile-Square Sugar Day.”
Bill Bergin, are you ready?
More importantly, are parents preparing months of “Blues Clues” on tape to keep their kids inside that day so they don’t accidentally notice these two shops opening up? Are people holding house parties??
What will become of mile-square Hoboken when its 38,000 residents (officially) are bouncing off the brownstones from their sugar highs? Will police issue tickets for public lollipop licking?? How classless!
Dropped cupcake creme might just back up the sewer system all the way to the 4th Ward!
IS ANYONE PREPARING?????
What do you think might happen on that day? Comment below!
