Holiday Help
Loved the Palisade Mag. What an elegant cover, and I got my plan for Xmas decorations from your short article on decking out the mantel.

Doing the Numbers
When I was greeted by the gorgeous new issue of Palisade magazine, I jumped up and down with joy! Not only is the entire winter issue beautiful to look at, informative, and trendy, but also your Arithmetickles article is so thorough and personable—you make us seem as fun as we are!
We hope we’ll hear from lots of Edgewater, Fort Lee, Weehawken, Jersey City, and Hoboken parents, parent/teacher groups, and school districts thanks to this article. Many, many thanks.

Classy Chassis
As one who works closely with Michael Furman, I was delighted by your treatment of his images in the winter issue of Palisade, not least of all by your stunning cover design.
And I was equally delighted by your many other absolutely beautiful, wonderfully executed color layouts, and your wide range of features and most interesting articles. Michael’s work has led me to many happy discoveries around our country and around the world, and your gem of a magazine is certainly one of them! Though I live in New York, I hope I’ll be able to arrange to receive future issues.

Vodka Shmodka
We got a couple of questions about why there was no vodka in our vodka sauce recipe in our winter issue. Well, here’s what Frances Aluotto, who submitted the recipe, had to say: “I do not use vodka because when you add it, the alcohol ignites and it’s not a fun thing when the flames go too high. I decided to omit the vodka, and the taste is still phenomenal. We all love it!” So there.
Fox Fan
I read through Palisade and it’s beautiful and chock-full of interesting stories and great ideas. I love the opening letter. It’s so poignant as I type this note with chilled fingers. I am a big fan of Fox Business and watch daily, so I feel like I almost know Liz Claman, but I had no idea she lived on the Jersey side of the Hudson River and was previously at CNBC! I’m looking forward to the next issue of Palisade.
