Oh, maaaaan, and you thought times were tough before! NY Waterway just announced that if you get canned, and you’ve got a multi-trip ferry pass burning a hole in your pocket, they’ll refund you for the unused ferry trips. (Normally, you could use those trips to go on interviews, but let’s face it, bucko, in this economy, who’s calling?)
To get the refund, you have to present your “original purchase receipts and a letter of termination.”
Their release says: “NY Waterway, whose commuter ferries have carried commuters through rain, snow and sunshine for 22 years, will help riders weather the economic storm by refunding tickets for anyone who loses their job, CEO and founder Arthur E. Imperatore announced today.”
