As reported here earlier this month, the cupcakes are coming — and not a moment too soon!
On Saturday, March 21, Hoboken’s newest bakeshop, a branch of Crumbs Bake Shop, will open at 8 a.m. (yes, bright and early) at 409 Washington St. They plan to give away 1,000 free cupcakes!!
The chain cupcake bakery was born on the Upper West Side five years ago. Today, Crumbs offers 75 different varieties.
“I love watching people getting together to enjoy each other over a cupcake,” said Mia Bauer, Crumbs co-founder. “Every day, I look forward to meeting our neighbors and hosting them in our 20 shops with our newest and favorite flavors.”
The new Crumbs Bake Shops will feature the signature Crumbs design, inspired by a combination of old-world European cafes and modern Americana, built around shades of chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon.
