HC SHERIFF’S OFFICE PARTICIPATED IN ENFORCEMENT OF SAFETY OF HUDSON COMMUTER VANS

Hudson County Sheriff Juan M. Perez announced that the County Sheriff’s Office participated with the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in the continuing enforcement of safety and motor vehicle violations of commuter vans operating within the county. Safety violations included bolts missing from wheels, cracked frames, bad brakes and signal and brake lights not operating. Perez noted that nine of the 19 vans inspected were taken out of service and towed away due to safety or motor vehicle violations.
