The video was chosen as a finalist in a 2 0national YouTube video competition sponsored by the Farm To School Network. Please vote for the video and forward this e-mail to all your friends, family, colleagues, and acquaintances. They will love the video, we promise!!”
You can vote for Elysian’s video HERE.
You can watch the video on the website by clicking on the title of the movie “Who Put That Burger on Your Plate?” You can also watch our movie on YouTube HERE.
Vote now! Voting ends Saturday, Feb. 14.
The winner of the competition will receive $1,000 for their school food project and a trip to the 4th National Farm to Cafeteria Conference in Portland, Oregon March 19-21. This is a significant opportunity for our school and a great honor for our students.
Note:
1) The voting on the website is split between two categories, K-12 videos and College Videos. You must vote for one from each category for your vote to count.
2) Press the “watch in high quality” to get better sound and visuals on the video.
3) To make sure that nobody votes twice, the competition only accepts one vote per ip address. If you have more than one person in your house who wants to vote, you might try having them vote from separate computers (or even from a computer at work or school.)
They say: “Since we are a small school we will have to work extra hard to get as many votes as the other videos. We believe that what we lack in size, we make up in spirit, so please forward this to everyone you can think of!!! We’ll let you know the results on February 18th.
Thanks,
Carol, Susan, Aram, Emily, John and the 5th Graders at Elysian Charter School.”
