To the Editor:
I want to express my gratitude to the Bayonne Municipal Utilities Authority.
Toward the end of January, I was rushing to my car and my car keys slipped out of my hands and right down the sewer. Everything was on that key chain – home keys, work keys, car keys, not to mention all of the tags that we collect for memberships and frequent buyer rewards. My key chain was full!
I took a shot and called the BMUA office at City Hall. Jodi Travelino answered the phone and was wonderful. She did not dismiss my call as insignificant. She was a tremendous help. Jodi contacted a team of men in the field, and they came to my rescue within 30 minutes.
Glen, Joe, Jimmy and Joe were not hindered by the cold of a January day. They pleasantly and efficiently did what they had to do to dig my keys out of the sewer. They kept plugging away until they found the keys, and it was certainly no easy or pleasant task.
Thank you to the team at the BMUA.
