It’s finally here! It’s Halloween in Hudson County and time to sport your spookiest Halloween costume creations.
Many local bars and restaurants are giving away incredible prizes for the best costumes this year, so make sure to look your best!
Every gal and ghoul can enjoy drink specials, deejay giveaways, party favors, and prizes at participating establishments.

Costume parties
Busker’s located at 94 Bloomfield St. in Hoboken, will hold a costume party with a chance to win a $200 bar tab. Special promotions include buckets of Bud Light from 11 p.m. to midnight. Call: (201) 604-1380.
Embankment located at 234 10th St. in Jersey City will hold a Masquerade Ball beginning at 11 p.m. Call: (201) 222-6115.
Gaslight located at 400 Adams St. in Hoboken will host a Halloween party, from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m., with a best costume contest beginning at 12:30 p.m. There are three categories to win: sexiest, most original, and best group. Hard Grove Café located at 319 Grove St. in Jersey City, will offer specialty drinks like the Devil’s Sangria, Spooky Juice, and Mummy Mojito’s, in addition to other drink specials. Call: (201) 451-1853.
Iron Monkey located at 97 Greene St. in Jersey City will host an all-night Halloween party. The night includes: $1 after dark drafts, $5 Mata Hari cocktails, and $10 liters of select draft beers. Guests are encouraged to dress in costume as there will be a costume contest at midnight. Liberty Bar and Grill located at 61 14th St., in Hoboken, will host a Monster Mash Halloween Bash. There will be a $300 prize for the costume contest and deejay giveaways. Specials include: $5 Captain Morgan drinks and $3.50 Ketel One drinks. On Nov. 1, Back from the Dead Night will continue the Halloween theme and offer the same drink specials. Call: (201) 222-6322.
LITM located at 140 Newark Ave. in downtown Jersey City, will host a Halloween bash featuring specialty drinks including the Witch’s Brew and Pumpkin Martinis. Lounge 11 located at 505 Madison St. in Hoboken, will host a costume contest offering prizes of $1,000 on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Call: (201) 792-2244.
Madison Bar & Grill located at 1316 Washington St. in Hoboken, will host a Halloween bash offering $3 Heineken and Heineken Light bottles. McMahon’s located at 1034 Willow Ave., will host a Halloween party featuring a costume contest taking place at 12:30 p.m. The grand prize is a cocktail party for 10 at McMahon’s in New York City location. Oddfellow’s located at 80 River St. in Hoboken, will host a costume contest awarding $250 for first place, $100 for second place, and $50 for third place. There will be a deejay at 9 p.m. and drink specials all night long. Call: (201) 656-9009.
Quay’s located at 310 Sinatra Dr. in Hoboken, will host a Spooktacular Halloween Costume Party from 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. The open bar is available for $50, and also includes cash prizes for best costumes, free give-aways, and party favors. Call: (201) 656-2521.
Rogo’s located at 734 Willow Ave. in Hoboken, will host a Halloween party and a costume contest, which will be giving away $1,000 to the best dressed gal or ghoul. On Nov. 1, Rogo’s is hosting an 80s themed costume party. Call: (201) 217-1512.
Teak on the Hudson located at 16 Hudson Pl. in Hoboken, will offer drink specials on both Friday Oct. 31 and Saturday Nov. 1. In addition to the drink specials, there will be costume parties on both nights, offering a grand prize of $2,000 on Friday night and $3,000 on Saturday night. Call: (201) 653-6888.
