GENESE, LEO. Services for Leo Genese, 75, of Hoboken, were held Oct. 18 at Lawton-Turso Funeral Home in Hoboken. He died Oct. 14. Genese was awarded the Hudson County Korean War Military Service Medal for his service in the US Army during the Korean War. Genese worked as an elementary school teacher in Westwood for many years. Survivors include his former wife, Alice Galmann, three children, Alice, Leo and William Genese, two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Hartman and Evelyn Kiely, a brother, Gerald Genese, and a grandchild, Jesse Nahem
