Dear Editor:
Hoboken badly needs a Community Center so our community has a place to keep our kids off the streets, a place to have events and just a place we can come together.
The new plan for the Western Edge includes a Community Center and pool that will be donated to the city by the developer, plus new parks and playgrounds. Why shouldn’t we support this plan? I agree we should make sure we get what is promised but if we can get a Community Center, pool, parks and playgrounds without raising our taxes in this economic climate, I am all for it.
Sincerely,
Margie Biart
