Dear Editor:
I would like to address the court testimony made by Ms. Medrano and quoted in Tuesday’s Jersey Journal. As stated in the article she never implicated Mayor Brian P. Stack of any wrong doing. Why therefore would that paper plaster an unflattering picture and headline against this innocent man? Mayor Stack has long been a proponent of the less fortunate and immigrant community that he loves and serves so tirelessly. Without a shadow of a doubt in my mind, I believe that Mayor Stack had not even the slightest idea of the horrific crimes that Ms. Medrano is accused of against these women. It appears that a desperate woman is doing whatever she can to save herself, regardless of who she hurts or whose reputation she tarnishes. More attention should be given to the crux of the article than to selling copies of that paper.
