A New LSC

A look back at Liberty Science Center’s 22-month renovation – and a peek at what’s to come.

What’s in Store

Starting in July, a wide array of new exhibits will open at the expanded Liberty Science Center. In Skyscraper! visitors can learn about the science, technology and planning that go into the amazing structures that create city skylines. The exhibit Hudson Home will give guests the chance to learn about the river’s wildlife, operate a cargo-crane simulator, and consider the ecological balance between humans and nature. A simulated subway-car ride is at the center of Infection Connection, which will explore the world of microbes and how they move from person to person. There may not be a lot in common between cuneiform, Braille and graffiti, but these and other forms of communication will be explained in the Communication exhibit.
