Dear Editor:
I wish to take this opportunity to thank all the residents that participated in the past municipal election. The substantial number of voters and volunteers that gave me their vote of confidence indicates that I have taken Union City in the right direction. As grateful as we are for the overwhelming victory at the polls, this resounding support to our administration’s policies humbles us and reinforces our need to continue to focus on our primary mission of helping each individual resident of Union City with any issue of importance to them.
Moreover, the vote of confidence given proves that the partnership that I demand between my administration and the residents of our community is an irrefutable formula for the success of Union City. As proud as I am of my administration’s record, I acknowledge that there is still a substantial amount of concerns to be addressed if we are going to turn each neighborhood in Union City into a model community.
In addition to the strong showing of support by voters, I credit this tremendous victory to the efforts of the hundreds of residents that volunteered their time and energy to carry our message to every Union City home. Whether it was stuffing envelopes, making phone calls or knocking on doors, theirs was a collective commitment to make sure that our City continues on its path of success.
Your vote of confidence has provided me the opportunity to ensure that the next four years are even more prosperous for Union City than the last four years.
Sincerely,
Brian P. Stack
