Plans for the Hoboken Masked Ball are underway

Dear Editor:

Plans for the third annual Hoboken Masked Ball are underway, and this year’s event promises to be a gala evening filled with excitement! This year’s Hoboken Masked Ball will take place this October 16th from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at NJ Transit’s Hoboken Terminal, Upper Waiting Room. A very special night is planned, with entertainment, dancing, delicious food and beverages. Guests wear elegant attire and masks (not costumes.)

For the past two years, the Hoboken Community has supported this important fundraiser for the Hoboken Historical Museum. On behalf of the entire planning committee and to all the corporate sponsors who have already pledged their support, I thank you personally for your generous contributions. Without the community’s support, this would not be possible.

General admission tickets for the Hoboken Masked Ball are price at $150 per person, and if purchased before August 15th, each ticket is at a reduced rate of $135. For businesses’ or individuals interested in sponsorships, please contact Ann Fody, event manager, at 845-895-9108 or email: sales@hobokenball.com. The top tier corporate sponsorship level is $5,000. For small businesses and individuals, sponsorships are available at $2,500. Additionally, there are reserved tables for six persons at $1,200. This is a great way for local businesses in the area to get exposure.

For more information about the Hoboken Masked Ball or to purchase tickets, call 201-656-2240, extension 4 or log onto www.HobokenBall.com. The site is consistently updated throughout the year detailing information on the Hoboken Ball.

The monies raised from the Hoboken Masked Ball help generate funds to support the Hoboken Historical Museum, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of Hoboken. Through events such as the Hoboken Masked Ball, we are able to offer an interesting and diversified mix of cultural and artistic events throughout the year. During the year, the Museum sponsors interesting events and activities and I urge the community to stop by the Museum, Hudson Street at 13th Street to see its special exhibits and upcoming events.

Have a great summer and as you are planning your fall social schedule, consider the Hoboken Masked Ball.
