Dear Editor:
The passing of Alan Flagg of the North Bergen Parks Dept. several weeks ago delivered a severe shock to township employees and his many friends.
Alan was a fine and thoughtful gentleman who was always ready and willing to help. He volunteered many of his free time hours to the Recreation Department affairs, whether it be cooking and serving in the kitchen or just cleaning up. His love for children reflected a man of true altruism.
We all are a little poorer emotionally today because of his loss. He will always be remembered. God Bless Alan Flagg, he served his community and country well. May he rest in God’s hands and at peace.Joseph “Jay” Sticco
