Political column repetitive

Dear Editor:

I humbly suggest, if conservation concerns you in any fashion, the two following procedures.

One; since the “Between the Lines” columns express almost verbatim last week’s columns, cloning them appears to be cost saving.

Two; relocating them on page eight or so would still enable those mentally retarded and interested in sleep inducing trivia to stay awake by forcing them to turn more pages. It is so obvious why Hudson County’s stagnation is so deep rooted. When one reads the political squirmishing, the unholy associations, the dirty infighting, the “any port in a storm” activity, continually repeated week after week, it is incredible to me how the column has survived this long. The space allotted to these charlatans, making noises and producing nothing but chaos to our communities could so productively be employed adding another half page to possibly constructive ideas. The least you should do is print this suggestion and await public reaction. I, for one, would love to discover the level of intellect in the area that would help reduce my pessimism as to the betterment of the community I’ve chosen to stay in.
