Come in, relax, and enjoy the Imago Beauty Group experience. The one-stop body care center in downtown Hoboken has a new section where masseuses work on patrons, in addition to their high-end hair and make up care salon.Since last November, owner Stephen Cunniff launched a spa area at his modest trendy shop. Imago has been in town for almost six years, and Cunniff and his staff have been ensuring the fashion sense of all customers, offering beauty care and products. With the debut of their spa area, opposite of their salon, Cunniff said he can offer people a facial before their haircut.
“We have expanded our services. We are a full-scale salon,” Cunniff said, during a recent interview. “People are getting excited about the Imago beauty experience.”
The full Imago experience consists of a massage session with a certified masseuse, and hair treatment with the option of a mini-makeover. It can range from $90 to $130.
“All treatments are customized and personally designed for your unique needs and well-being,” Cunniff said.
Facials and massages are offered in 30, 60 and 90 minute sessions. The Imago Beauty Group also specializes in hair, skin, body care and makeup. Women’s haircuts range from $50 to $75, while men’s cuts are $40. The Imago staff offers thermal straightening, conditioning treatment, highlights and single process color. Their mini-makeovers and make up application are available by appointment.
“We would be happy to accommodate your hair and make up needs for any special occasion,” said Cunniff.
