The following should be sung to the tune of “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.”
David the Hoboken Mayor
David the Hoboken Mayor
Said he needed lots of cash.
We know the reason was that
He’d been on a spending bash.
He said there’d be mass layoffs.
That got City workers mad.
They didn’t want Mayor David,
Messing with the jobs they had.
Then one warm mid summer night,
Enright came to say:
“David with the cash so tight,
Refinance the debt tonight.”
The workers still don’t like him.
They’ve been heard to shout with glee,
“David the Hoboken Mayor,
Next year you’ll be history!”
