Nepotism in NJ needs to stop

Dear Editor:

I will like to praise Assembly Speaker Albio Sires for his initiative to end Nepotism on the New Jersey State Assembly. I strongly believe that the taxpayers of our state want to see clear-cut legislation that prohibit legislators from hiring family relatives to key positions paid with taxpayers money (Nepotism) yet, I personally believe it ought to not only be prohibited at the state level but also should be extended to the local level. Hence I call upon Assemblyman Sires, as a citizen of the 33rd district, to post this initiative for a vote on the New Jersey General Assembly, and make it an enforceable law that end nepotism at the state and local level.

Our State is in very much need of reforms, not only it is necessary to end the practice of Nepotism at the state and local level, but also pass campaign finance reforms and end dual office holding. Assembly Speaker Sires take the initiative to bring reform to the state of New Jersey.
