Achilles’ heel

Sometimes when I eat a mango
(Or do anythin; take a whiz)
I wonder how many of us over the globe —
At that very moment!
(the yellow dripping fruit
(the relief of evacuation)
There’s instant animal kinship,
And human: foreknowledge of the end
Such earthly contents
Human too to hear God’s
Subversive voice: “Heaven
Is here and now if only
You didn’t almost always
Through laziness, lack of diligence
Let the worst people
Never lazy, ever diligent
Hoax you into hell.”
