With tears in my eyes
I kneel on that ground zero,
My heart beats and dries
I remind brave those heroes.
I kiss that sacred dust,
And hear the cries of kids
My conscious bites and bursts
And sobs of men I heed.
Those holy lives have gone
And rest in reign of Lord,
The joyful days have gone
And mournful nights came on.
I lay myself on ground
And rub that ash on head,
I pray to God for souls
With tears that I shed.
