Attention cooking fans – your dream has come true. There is jewelry that resembles different kinds of food.
Witty pins include a plate with a knife and fork, and a sterling silver spoon decorated with glass charms. Fish and frying pan earrings and a piece of cake on a plate necklace are just a few options.
The jewelry is part of the Decorated Chef series, created last year by award-winning chef and former North Jerseyan Jan Rutte
. With the help from her colleague Pauli Reep, Rutte decided to launch a jewelry line mainly for women in her profession who are looking to express their adoration for culinary arts."I have been a certified personal chef in the Atlanta area for over six years," Rutte said. "Now I’ve found another outlet for my creativity which has allowed me to grow from gourmet cooking to designing and selling cooking-themed jewelry."
Rutte came out with the Decorated Chef line in 2002. Since launching her products, Rutte said she has gained a significant amount of notoriety from her colleagues and new clients buy the products constantly.
"We offer a wide variety of cooking-themed jewelry for anyone with a love of the culinary arts," Rutte said.
