Dear Editor:
Two articles in the Jersey City Reporter on May 11, 2003, one in the “letters” section titled “Give me your votes for county exec” by Jaime Vazquez, Democratic candidate for Hudson County Executive, and “A matter of color” by Al Sullivan are the type of “gatekeeping” reports which I most appreciate and admire.
It takes guts to put out such reports and, believe it or not, there are much more intellectuals in our communities than the media and politicians (ignorantly) admit.
