WWII vet supports Dominic Lisa

Dear Editor:

I would like to announce my support for Dominic Lisa 1st Ward city council candidate. As a lifetime Hoboken resident and WW11 and Korean War veteran, I know that no one else possesses stronger leadership skills that will benefit Hoboken and the 1st Ward immensely. I am an avid believer in helping the needy in our city, and whenever I call for Dominic’s help, he’s always willing to take time out of his busy schedule to do what he can to make a difference in our community.

As a grandfather and great-grandfather I am concerned about the children of our city and Dominic will fight for after school programs and more play areas to keep our children out of the busy streets. I have witnessed a great deal of change in Hoboken during my life; our city is developing rapidly and with the boom of population, there are issues that become important, such as the parking situations, traffic control, recreational programs and public safety. I know that Dominic will work hard to tackle these important issues, and he will make the right decisions based on the safety and concerns of the people of our city.

Please help us in our efforts to keep our city flowing properly, get out and vote on May 13, 2003 and elect Dominic Lisa 1C for Hoboken’s 1st Ward City Council.

Thank you,

Jerry Forman

Hoboken resident
