When we work together, we all win!

Dear Editor:

On April 1, 2003, delegates to the Hudson County Central Labor Council representing more than 20,000 union members in Hudson County endorsed Vincent Addeo of Hoboken, 3rd Ward Councilperson. Mr. Addeo was recommended for endorsement by the Hudson County C.O.P.E. (Committee On Political Education).

Patrick Kelleher (Plumbers Local #14), Hudson County C.O.P.E. Political Director conducted a candidate interview on March 18, 2003. Also in attendance were C.O.P.E. committee members Ira Stern (UNITE!) and Brishen Rogers (SEIU 32BJ). Executive Board members of the Hudson County Central Labor Council also participated in the interview process.

Vincent Addeo, a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers has proven himself to be an activist for working men and women in the air transportation industry. His abilities as an organizer and negotiator will serve him well as a councilperson for all the populace in Hoboken. Unquestionably, Mr. Addeo will run a spirited, labor oriented campaign. The Hudson County Central Labor Council is committed to his candidacy and will work in concert with him to assist him in achieving victory at the polls.

When we work together we all win!

In Solidarity,

Peter A. Busacca, President

Hudson County Central Labor Council

Patrick Kelleher, Political Director

Hudson County C.O.P.E.
