Dear Editor:
I would like to publicly thank all of the hard working employees of Union City who managed to do their best to get to work and to conduct city business as well as possible during the snowstorms this winter.
I am especially grateful to the employees of the Department of Public Works, the Parks Department and the Police Department, as well as Det. Tony Martinez of the Office of Emergency Management. It was a great experience working side by side with these fine men and women who did their best and who worked days with very little rest for the residents of our community. Great work, everyone!
My hat goes off to all of you, and I want you to know you have made me very proud. You are the best.
