Dear Editor:
Virginia Dabonka’s “The Alcoholic” has brought joy to me and probably to a multitude of people. The North Bergen Reporter’s record on poetry has been abominable up to now. Previous attempts at poetics besides reeking with self-aggrandizement, contained unbridled nonsense, generally unintelligible and kindergarten level gibberish. Only the egotistically bloated creator might have guessed what message it contained, if any. Certainly it had no “art” like poetry requires and which, Virginia, showed plenty of. She has to have heart, and she’s a heck of a “gal.” Keep going!
