Dear Editor:
On behalf of the entire Town of Secaucus, I want to praise and acknowledge our Secaucus patriots football team on a superb season.
The Patriots played in the Super Bowl of the Pee Wee Division of the bi-County Scholastic Football League at Englewood High School football field last Saturday.
Our team’s performance is one in which the entire town should take pride. I know I am proud of each and every one of our youngsters and coaches who played in the game.
On a cold, wet night they played their hearts out and capped a terrific season in which they were 7-1-1.
In just six years in the league, our team has gone to the Super Bowl twice.
This year was another exciting season and one where our young people showed incredible heart. On behalf of all of Secaucus, congratulations.
