Dear Editor:
We all know that parking in Hoboken is like an Olympic event, with speed, timing and a little luck playing predominant roles. It’s difficult enough to ride around searching while avoiding pedestrians — now we have to worry about the increasingly abundant temporary “No Parking” signs, taped to trees on various streets by the city. Here’s my beef: please consider removing the signs once the “project” is finished. It’s a tad annoying to pass up a good spot while trying to respect a sign, which in fact expired a month ago.
And to all the individual residents that tape up their own “Courtesy — No Parking” signs; perhaps once you are all moved in and comfy, you might remember to have the courtesy to remove the paper from the tree trunks, instead of waiting for someone else to do it.
