I would like to thank you and your reporter for the very positive article on the appointment of Carlos Vallejo to the Union City Board of Education.
The residents of Union City, especially parents with children in our schools, need to know that people are being appointed to our various city boards who truly represent them. Carlos is one of those people. Interested, active in the community, a parent himself and looking forward to serving his neighbors, he is an excellent choice to sit on the Board of Education.
I also want Union City residents to know that participation in our municipal government is open to all. I welcome resum
