This is a little poem for Officer #94 Ignacio Mottola for his grace and commitment as a Police Officer and a Gentleman as he worked hard on the day of Election keeping things running smooth at our polling place…
I love to see my policemen
so neat, so nice, so cool
wearing their uniforms
with pride, honesty and content
Their shoes are always shining
sometimes at the end of the day
they don’t look so clean
but, let’s face it dear readers
they work hard & walk a lot too…
Wherever is an accident
whenever we have fun
wherever we need them
they are always here for us.
I can walk free in Weehawken
knowing I am safe
because we have the best policemen
that anyone can find…
I salute the men in blue…Weehawken’s best…
