Dear Editor:
To the voters of Weehawken we offer our heartfelt thanks for the overwhelming vote of confidence you gave to the Weehawken and You Team on Election Day. We also would like to thank the Weehawken Reporter and the Jersey Journal for sponsoring the candidates’ debates. This was a true pubic service.
For those who chose not to support us, please be assured that the lines of communication to the administration will be open to all, as they have been throughout our tenure in office. Every citizen is invited to participate in our government, either by attending meetings, volunteering to serve on our boards or by joining one of our many committees to provide input on a litany of projects.
It is our goal to continue the type of government that is responsive to all and which has made Weehawken one of the top 25 communities in New Jersey.
