I wasn’t happy to read about the asbestos issue, having picked up a couple of the pretty green rocks that had spilled onto the road, and brought them home, flake-covered as they were.
I also hope someone has thought about the workers. I didn’t see them mentioned. Hopefully, I missed something. They should have been the first concern of both Stevens and Hobokenites. They certainly should have been informed they would be dealing with asbestos. And, if they ever succumb to asbestos-related illness, the contractor’s insurance should cover them, and if it doesn’t, Stevens should.
