Congratulations go out to John Madigan for his outstanding showing in the Hoboken School Board Election. This was John’s first time running as an independent candidate, and judging from the number of votes he received, this definitely will not be his last.
John finished 4th with 1180 votes to his credit, which was 344 votes behind 3rd place winner, Carmelo Garcia.
John won the 1st Ward and was just 9 votes away from carrying the 3rd ward. For a first time independent candidate, your numbers were extremely impressive. I look forward to working with you again next year in your attempt to capture a seat on the Hoboken School Board.
