Dear Editor:
On behalf of the children and staff of the Hoboken Boy’s and Girl’s Club I am writing this letter to thank the following agencies/businesses who have helped our children during the holiday season:
To our local A&P Supermarket, Rite Aide Pharmacy and C-Town Supermarket we would like to thank you for your donations of food, candy and gift certificates. The items were used during our Halloween and Christmas parties that the children so much enjoyed. We would also like to thank the Hoboken Housing Authority for their continued support and assistance.
A special thank you to Mayor David Roberts and Councilmen Ruben Ramos and Christopher Campos who have taken a special interest in our children. They have continued to enrich our children’s lives by speaking to them on topics such as education and preparing for the future. In addition during the holiday season they donated turkeys that were distributed to our needy families.
During these trying times we at the Hoboken Boy’s and Girl’s Club appreciate all the help we receive from parents and volunteers. Without their continued support we would not be able to provide the needed services that the children so desperately need.
