To stand on the opposite shore
And recall, what used to be
Is no longer a pleasure, in my mind
But, a horrendous tragedy
Two vacant slots are in the air
Two momentous towers are gone
And as I viewed that emptiness
My heart felt so forlorn
Through all the mist and smoke
I imagined a thought so rare
I saw, thousands of innocent souls
Rising, into the air
I composed these thoughts, in my mind
As I totally, lost my breath
These tearful words of pain and sorrow
Are a dirge, of senseless death
Once, on the spot, I viewed freedom
Once, in that time, now gone bye
I was so proud and fre of heart, Alas …
TWO SPACES, IN THE SKY.
